Back: My business partner encouraged me to share a testimony with you concerning this particular verse. Life as I knew it was turned upside down one summer when my precious husband almost died undergoing routine surgery. Words cannot describe the panic and defeat that overwhelmed me upon hearing the news that something had gone terrible wrong during the procedure. On my knees and with tears I cried out to the Lord for help. God spoke ever so gently to my heart and said, “Be still My child- and know that I am God.” I held on to those words during the long weeks and months that followed. There were days when his condition would worsen and I would become discouraged but then I would remind myself of God’s precious encouragement to rest in who He is. My husband did eventually recover and I give God all the glory! My hope is that Psalm 46:10 will be a reminder to all believers that we can always be confident in our wonderful God. All things are possible through Him. - CRS.
